Appears to be refinished in the last fifty years or heavily revived old finish. Scuffs and scratches as to be expected with age. Appears to be structurally reglued to make sound. There is loss to the underside of the tabletop where the table may have fallen over at some point, only noticeable when table is upside down.

Solid sound construction and in good usable order. On closer inspection these chairs appear to be a type of hardwood and not Australian ceder, most likely manufactured in the last fifty years. Possibly commissioned due to the detailed carved back rest. An attractive set in good usable condition

This has been refinished some time ago. Surface now with several stains and watermarks as well as scuffs and scratches as with age. No evidence of repairs or restoration. The original extended board to the top has been nailed to the lower frame and these areas have been filled. A rare example of its type and in usable condition.
