Overall good original condition with an old even finish and colour. Scuffs and scratches as to be expected with age. Several small professional repairs and some minor losses to the cushion mould to the drawer blades. Replaced mismatching, yet old, dust panels to the back of the chest.

In old, restored condition that has been refinish a long time ago or heavily revived 19th century finish. Scuffs, scratches and knocks as to be expect with age. Several small areas of veneer loss to the lower plinth support of the lyre trestle ends. Shrinkage separation to the cross-grain ogee mould below the table top. A rare style of table would respond well to sympathetic restoration.

Original 19th century revived finish throughout, good overall colour and patination. Scuffs, knocks and scratches as expected with age. One later replaced pane of glass and later keys to operate original locks. The fall front secretaire with replaced leatherette writing surface. Rubbing, wear and losses to the oil gilt finish to the pigeonholes, and secretaire draw blades. Single shelf absent from lower cupboard section of the bookcase. The bookcase is in remarkably original condition. This is one of a series of known bookcases made for Redmond Barry, matching the one described and illustrated in ‘Australian Furniture Pictorial History and Dictionary 1788-1939’ by Kevin Fahy an Andrew Simpson.

Original throughout. Evidence of regluing pedestal column to the tabletop underside block. Top and base are original to each other. The solid top with stains and water damage as to be expected with age. No evidence of repair or restoration. An honest table that would respond well to restoration.

Original condition, good overall colour and patination, some areas displaying white chalk grain filler. Scuffs, scratches, and knocks as expected with age. Lower back left thumbnail molding worn and chipped away in a 30mm area. Scratch to the backboard as can be seen in photo. Shrinkage splits and separation to the lower door frames. escutcheon missing from lower central door and right and left-hand cupboard. Heavy wear and rubbing to the righthand cupboard lower edge. Lefthand cupboard lock later replacement rh original. Cellarette drawer and cutlery drawers are present. One backing board replaced. Overall good original piece that would respond well to restoration. This has been in the Morgan's family home for the last 30-40 years and is almost identical to the one featured in the; Fahy, Simpson, and Simpson 'Nineteenth Century Australia Furniture' reference book, Plate 151. 

Drawers are running smoothly as the runners have been replaced. Scuffs, scratches, and knocks as to be expected with age. Original finish showing evidence of sun bleaching this is highlighting the French chalk grain filler within the grain. Original condition. Locks and escutcheon. Colour of timber is a honey yellow.
