1925 (July 21) Adelaide-Sydney #80-89 two covers carried by Australian Aerial Services Ltd on first flights between new links on the Adelaide-Sydney service, the former (#88) with violet 'BY AERIAL MAIL' cachet franked KGV 1½d red, 1½d green, 1d green and ½d green tied 'BROKEN HILL/21JL25/N.S.W' datestamp flown to Sydney, the latter (#85) with Kangaroo 1d red (3) and KGV 1½d black-brown tied Melbourne '21JL/1925' flown to Adelaide by pilot FS Briggs, both fine condition, Cat $600. [AAMC states "In most cases only small mails were carried especially between the intermediates."]
