This is a reproduction clock in the 19th century style, clearly marked made in Italy. Appears to be original, one finial spire broken but present with the clock and could be reattached. A decorative clock only. We do not guarantee the ongoing operation of timepieces sold at auction. 

No repairs or restoration or cracks. Rings true. Scuffs and scratches to the interior as to be expected with age. Shelf wear to foot rim, with one small chip. Factory imperfections to the glaze. A good example. 

In our opinion, this is an original 18th century plate. The condition supports that this is the case. It is in a very poor, chipped, cracked and otherwise damaged state. As can be seen in the catalogue illustrations, there is numerous chips and rub marks to the higher points of the rim. There is also a significant area of damage lower right which has been repaired (not professionally).
