Sugar basin appears to have been dropped at some stage as there is a kink to the base of the piece, however this does not appear to visually affect the piece when displayed. Sugar tong has a slight kink and crease to the neck of one end and would benefit from a delicate restoration. All ivory components are complete and in very good condition, however all ivory displaying shrinkage cracks as is always the case with piece of this age. These should be clearly visible on the images online. Beautiful patination throughout, in our opinion a very good example.
