Condition ReportAs can be seen in the published photograph, the map shows considerable light ageing and the hand colouring has faded. The map (now removed from the frame for inspection) has been mounted in a way that hides the fact that there is a small loss of image to Western Australia and a very small loss in the east to the names allocated to landmarks of New Zealand. The remaining printed area is 373mm by 470mm. There is a small hole at the fold just south of River Coran. The map does not appear to be laid down, but is firmly affixed at the left and right edges to the backing sheet.
