Good original condition with no repairs or restoration. General scuffs and scratches to the salt glaze as to be expected with age. Small chip to the inner lip rim of the lid. Note: No liner or tap present.

Significant crack to lid.

Lid badly damaged and restored (unprofessionally). Hairline cracks running from the rim down to both handles. The front of the spiggot has sustained a large area of loss. Poor to fair condition only.

Yellow Fowler example with some unusual crazing/hairline cracking around the top rim. Other examples in good condition throughout. Note: It has been brought to our attention that these appear to be mercury pots.

As noted in the description, this appears to have an experimental glaze which has many firing defects and misses. In addition to this, there are several flakey glaze loss areas that appear to have happened at a later date where the glaze has failed. Crazing visible throughout, in particular, to the interior and base, trending to hairline crack to the rim (approximately 2cm).

Appears to be complete and in good condition with no signs of any chips, cracks or restoration. 

Appears to have a rather bubbly and textured finish. Several of these bubbles appear to have burst, resulting in blemishes to the glaze. We note one significant example which someone has possibly coloured at a later date. No other major damage or restoration visible.

In very good condition, presently very well. Minor crazing throughout and one small chip to the underside corner. A small area of rough/flaked glaze on one side (factory). A very handsome piece.

We do note however, the piece is quite twisted and distorted as it came out of the kiln. There are some grinding marks to the feet, this appears to be factory where excess glaze has been removed.

A couple of tiny fleabite flakey losses to the glaze around the foot (shelf wear). Minor crazing visible to the interior. Overall, good condition throughout.

The forehead has a dent which has been partially and badly filled. There is another partially filled scuff or dent to the top left of the head. The whole bust has been enamel painted with runs and drips throughout. There is also a few small chips to the rear of the head.

Some minor crazing to the interior (to be expected). We note an unusual glaze blemish to the underside which appears to be just a miss and is factory. Otherwise, good overall condition.
