Genuine period French swinger, spelter figure with original cold painted finish with areas of corrosion and discolouration and losses, as to be expected with spelter. Original base, no damage or restoration to the figure. The post from which the clock suspends appears to have been re-attached to the figure. Clock in original order, present and correct. Currently not running as cross style suspension springs are broken and the clock has not had professional attention in a long period of time. In sleepy original condition.

This piece is keeping remarkably good time with a current variance of a couple of seconds. Missing screws to the lid hinge otherwise very clean and tidy throughout, a very high-quality chronometer. We have had Rob snook who is a professional Horologist, who was very impressed with its condition.
As is the case with all clocks and timepieces, we don’t guarantee working order.

Appears to be professionally restored, minor scuffs and scratches to the case (as to be expected). Dial appears to be a later replacement. Has being retrofitted as to operate from a cell battery, all parts/movements appear to be present and correct. We are unable to test and run this clock due to it being brought in by the vendor with the pendulum assembly attached and the suspension spring has been broken. Professional set up/adjustment of the movement would be required for operation. A good example of its type.
