A fine example in very good to excellent original condition. Condition ReportOverall height is 6cm. The fishskin case has minor joins near the hinge which appear to be original and natural. The celestial map on the inside of the case is in exceptionally good condition with a couple of tiny faults mentioned for accuracy. There is very slight foxing/discolouration to the globe as can be seen from the published photographs and that is entirely consistent with age and less pronounced than on some examples we have seen, including those on display at MONA in Hobart.
