Appear to be in very good condition without obvious damage or defects throughout. We note that these have possibly been designed to be wired for electrification at some stage as there is thread inside the metal tops.

The lamp appears to have been originally manufactured as a lamp with a recessed base for the cord, the cord runs though the piece and out the top (this top section appears to have been made as a separate piece). Some rubbing to the gilding and numerous scuffs throughout from use. We note the figure appears to have originally been holding something in its raised hand (no longer present), otherwise in good condition.

Good overall condition, colour, and finish. Drawer runs reasonably well, although the guides may need some adjustment. Original brass hardware, one ring pull missing from the back plate. Minor scuffs and scratches as to be expected. Nicely patinated finish, most likely revived at some point. The tabletop showing evidence of it being nailed down and holes filled, fitting it to the frame, most likely done a long time ago. Photocopy of original receipt present. A handsome small table.

Top weathered with numerous marks to be expected. Old restoration to legs and some old borer holes present (to be expected on a piece of this age). CColumn and top sit slightly askew. Fair condition only.

Good original condition, finish most likely revived in the past, with good colour and patination. Drawers working well, minor scuffs and scratches as to be expected with age, and a few small veneer losses. Would respond well to a light clean and wax.

Damage and areas of loss the left-hand finial and most of the escutcheons, however we note there is a small handful of loose pieces in the top drawer which would be very handy for restoration purposes. These appear to be most of the escutcheon pieces and part of the finial. Polish and finish appear to be all original with very attractive patination. Some shrinkage cracks visible to the veneer in places, particularly to the areas on the writing surface. Several minor veneer restorations throughout, most notable to the front of the drawers in several locations, clearly visible in photographs. Overall, this still presents very attractively that would respond from sympathetic restoration.

Original finish (support repaired), some marks and scrapes to be expected. Would originally have had a bookcase top in our opinion.

Good restored condition, most likely done in the 80’s. scuffs and scratches as to be expected with use. Small amount of front edge walnut veneer on top of lid previously sanded through, filled and coloured (when originally restored). Two minor losses to the fret lift up tray lids inside. Strike plate of the lock fitted to the inside top of the lid has been filed flat (therefore lock not operational). Good example in take home condition.

Overall original condition. Two veneer losses to the top, each approximately 10 x 20mm. Original finish would benefit from a clean and a wax. The bottom skirt piece of the wool box has been snapped off but this is still with the piece inside and will need to be reglued. At this break, there are small losses to the boxwood inlay. Would respond well to sympathetic restoration.

Has been repolished with a varnish or estapol and as a result, is very shiny.
