All lenses look clear, with no apparent fungus or balsam separation. All aperture and focus rings turn smoothly.

Focus and aperture rings turn smoothly. Lens and waist-level finder look clear. Cosmetically the leather is in good condition, with no tears, scratches, or peeling. Overall the metal elements are in good but not pristine condition, with some degradation around the front screws. Shutter is stuck.

All appears to be mechanical sound and operational (without film testing). Body in very good condition, a few scuffs to the base as to be expected. Lens in good condition, would respond well to a professional clean, some scuffs on the outer rim as to be expected with use. The Type 1 has a mark to the metal at the apex of the viewfinder; the Type 2 is in uncommonly good condition for this particular model, with good clean metal surfaces overall, only a tiny patch of degraded black enamel on rear, and all three leather sections on top of finder securely in place.

Lens is clear, as is viewfinder. Film winder, shutter, and focusing ring all function smoothly and as expected. No lens hood is present. Nikon warranty card (x2) is present, plus manual and other ephemera - all in Japanese. Self-timer is working. Cosmetic condition practically flawless, with only a patch of shallow, almost imperceptible scratches to one of the ends of the baseplate.
