The books generally present very well with bindings in good condition, no pages missing and fold out plates and other images all appear to be intact. However, there is light foxing evident to the edges. Several of the volumes have a previous ownership signature but there is no evidence of the set ever being in a library collection. 

There are 39 Boguslavsky cards. They range from poor to very good condition. 

Overall the book is in very good condition. The cover has no foxing, toning or repairs. The gilt title to the spine is complete and crisp. There is very slight foxing evident on the page edges in two spots. The dust jacket is original (and rarely seen) but has damage at the base of the spine and slight wear at the top of the spine. A very small printing in March 1944 means that this is one of Wells' rarest publications. 

There is one white knight missing

It is in quite good condition and we have had parts of it working. It would benefit from cleaning and may need some attention. The male dancers arms appear to be partly held in place by blu-tack. 

This has not been serviced in a considerable amount of time. It is presently running and operational, but deterioration of grease and oil has left the operation levers sticky. The governor needs some encouragement to get started, but movement barrels are all present and correct and will respond exceptionally well to a professional service. No damage of note to the comb. From general appearance, pining of barrels seem to be in good order also. Later table stand, the music box case/cabinet with later patched veneer, moldings and missing moldings. Presents well, but will benefit from professional restoration as this is a rare model. 

Several discs appear to have never been removed from their sleeve, let alone played.

Aperture on all three lenses open and close without issue. One lens with some evidence of cloudiness. There does not appear to be any evidence of fungus. Turret rotates smoothly. The exterior paint has worn away in two places on the rear. The interior and exterior of the case are quite worn, consistent with age, although closes without issue. The case does not have a key.

Cosmetically the unit is in very good condition. The waist level finder opens smoothly. No evidence of lens separation or fungus. However; there is some dust in the workings. 

Additional lenses also in extremely fine condition. 

The leather case has small amount of marks consistent with use, but otherwise in very good condition considering its age.

The screen on the additional camera back has some scratches. 

Key is present.

Scratches and scuffs to the timber body, to be expected with age. Bellows in fairly good condition with some cracking to the corners. Lens with heavy dust inside.
