The painting is overall in very good condition, displaying the impressionistic brush strokes typical of Macgeorge's work of which this is a fine example. The signature is strong and clearly visible.

The painting is in lovely condition, with no cracking or loss. It is a very pleasing composition in our opinion.

There is evidence of previous framing having covered the lowest 5mm of the painting, and it would appear that in removing that frame some of the signature has been lost.

The Morgan's purchased this painting privately. No further provenance information available.

In very good condition overall. No loss of paint or retouching visible. The frame is also in very good condition, the frame appears to be later than the painting.

Except for a tiny loss of red colour on the petal at the bottom right, near the frame, the thickly applied oil paint is intact, and the painting is overall in very good condition.
