Lot #15 Chinese export silver fiddle pattern tablespoon with scallop shell decoration and engraved monogram and crest for JAMES NORTON of Ecclesbourne, circa 1830s, stamped "C.U." with pseudo hallmarks, as used by the trading house of the American expat JOHN CUSHING of Canton. This spoon matches in all respects others from the same service which bear all the marks of ALEXANDER DICK in Sydney New South Wales.
