Lot #360 TASMANIAN CONVICT PHOTOGRAPH: A carte-de-visite, annotated verso: "108. Thomas Wilson alias Murphy. per "Dd Clark". Taken at Port Arthur 1874." Thomas WILSON was convicted at Carnarvonshire on 1 Aug 1840 for breaking into a dwelling and stealing. Gaol Report: "vicious, desperate disposition, conduct disorderly & bad connections". 15 year transportation sentence. Sent to Van Diemen's Land per the ship "David Clarke" on it's only voyage carrying convicts, arriving 4 Oct 1841. He was still in gaol
