Lot #358 TASMANIAN CONVICT PHOTOGRAPH: A carte-de-visite, annotated verso: "36. Henry Williams per Gov'r Phillip. Taken at Port Arthur 1874". Henry Williams (transported as William Williams), was convicted of Housebreaking at the Supreme Court in Hobart Town and sentenced to 5 years in gaol. He had arrived in Van Dieman's Land aboard the "Governor Phillips". The prison record shows he was discharged in February 1876.
