Gathorne Hardy) and with two embossed seals. The impressive document records the appointment of Charles Cecil Oates to a Lieutenant's Commission in the Land Forces, dated December 1874. Attractively mounted, framed & glazed together with a portrait of Queen Victoria & a plaque describing Victoria & her reign. Overall 64 x 86cm
