Lot 20JOHN CAMPBELL "ENTALLY NATIONAL HOUSE" pottery ashtray with majolica glaze. incised "John Campbell, Tasmania", 12cm diameter. Note: this only the second example known to our rooms. Entally House was built in 1819 for Thomas Reibey, son of Mary Reibey. Mary was transported as a convict to Sydney and later became a successful business woman and is now commemorated on the Australian $20 note.
