Lot 1218CHARLES ROLANDO (1844-1893) and/or JAN HENDRIK SCHELTEMA (1861-1941), (attributed), (girl in the farmyard), oil on canvas, 101 x 70cm, 130 x 99cm overall. Note: Rolando and Scheltema were close friends and often painted together. This is evidenced by numerous examples of both artists painting near identical scenes. They also exhibited together and on occasions contributed to each others works. This work appears to be the work of Rolando with the possible addition of the cows by Scheltema.
