HISTORICAL BRITISH NAVAL SHIPS WHEEL FROM THE BATTLESHIP RODNEY: wheel Circumference 27” to extremities of handles 36”; the Rodney, in conjunction with the Prince of Wales Battleship, played a major role in the sinking of the German battleship Bismarck in mid-1941. With traces of original paint work & missing two handles. Comes with documentation of the origin of the Rodney ship's wheel. It was purchased by the vendor's mother at auction about 1965 for the Scottish War Blinded Society.
