Lot #53CORGI: Late 1960s to early 1970s ‘Corgi Comics’ Noddy’s Car (801) – complete with Noddy, Big Ears and Grey Faced Golly. Early examples of this model were seen with a black face Gollywog but a few months later was changed to a grey face. It was later reissued with Teddy instead of Golly most probably due to Gollywogs being seen as less appropriate. Mint in yellow and blue windowed box with original pictorial inner display.
