Unknown Photographer: Large original silver gelatin photograph of Heifetz playing violin with his young son, Jay [Joseph] looking-on. A cropped version of the image took up a whole page in the June 4th, 1960 edition of The Saturday Evening Post, accompanying an article titled "A Visit with Jascha Heifetz". With SEP copyright stamps on reverse.
At the height of its popularity, the Saturday Evening Post published in-depth features with accompanying images from some of the world's best photographers, some of whom were on the magazine's staff, and as was the custom of the day, who didn't receive personal credit for their work.
