[The boxed h/s is Swiss, usually seen applied to mail delayed by German embargoes. This suggests that mail from Japan unclaimed in Australia could not be returned to POWs in Japan, absence of transit markings indicating that it was sent to Switzerland, probably to the Red Cross, under cover] (2)
