1930 (Oct 30) Round the World Flight by The Honourable Mrs Victor Bruce being an Indian commemorative cover printed in grey flown Karachi-Calcutta with Indian 1a cancelled on arrival & signed "Mildred Bruce". Ex Boris Joffe. Mildred Mary Bruce was a glass-ceiling-breaking British adventuress who won the Women's Class of the 1927 Monte Carlo Rally and later drove 250 miles north of the Arctic Circle, a record she held for more than 70 years! She also held powerboat records & in 1934 had an unsuccessful crack at the autogiro distance record.
