1930 (June 24) Ireland-Newfoundland-America per Charles Kingsford Smith in the Fokker monoplane "Southern Cross", airmail envelope with uncancelled US 5c on the reverse, signed by the pilot and crew, Australiian Air Mail Catalogue #163a, Cat $12,500. Only three covers were carried on what was a continuation of Kingsford Smith's flight from Australia-England, that was subsequently completed with a trans-Pacific crossing. Ex Boris Joffe.
