1928 (Sept 2) India-Iraq India KGV '1½' on 1a Postal Card carried on the return flight to England by Captain Barnard & Flight Officer Alliott in the Fokker 'Princess Xenia' with octagonal 'KARACHI/31AUG28/UNPAID' d/s & 'MAGIL' arrival cds, signed by both pilots, a bit knocked-about but quite presentable; also outer wrapper from 'The Three Castles Cigarettes' packet signed "C Barnard" affixed to a printed certificate stating this was part of the plane's cargo. This example is of superior appearance to the Peter Jennings card with missing corner that sold for £460+ in London in 2015, where it was stated that "Just three similar postcards recorded ... all of which have corner faults".
