BOB FITZSIMMONS, hand-made horse-shoe, stamped at top "Bob Fitsimmons", and impressed with 15 stars; together with book "The Fighting Blacksmith - The Story of Bob Fitzsimmons" by Odd [London, 1976]. {Bob Fitsimmons (1863-1917, born in Helston, Cornwall, lived in Timaru NZ 1872-83, before moving on to Australia & USA. He made boxing history as the sport's first three-division world champion, and World Heavyweight Champion 1897-99. One of the hardest punchers in boxing history, he achieved fame beating Gentleman Jim Corbett (the man who beat John L.Sullivan).
