Partially printed document on vellum with embossed Presidential seal, also signed by Edwin M.Stanton (Secretary of War), window mounted, framed & glazed, overall 49x67cm. Signature faded, though attractive & rare. [Dr.Mursick was quickly promoted to Surgeon in charge of United States Army General Hospital at Duvall's Cliff, Arkansas. He was present at many noted Civil War battles].
