1914 (July 16) Melbourne-Sydney #4b covers purportedly flown by Maurice Guillaux on the first Australian official airmail flight both with forged oval 'AUSTRALIAN/AERIAL MAIL/MELBOURNE/16-JUL-1914/VIC' handstamps showing minor differences to the original, the former franked Victorian and KGV issues with small Colonial-era Sydney backstamp (dated '16' rather than correct '18' June), the latter with Victoria and Kangaroo issues also with forged 'M Guillaux' signature on face but large part back flap missing and only partial backstamp, Cat $700.
