FAVOURABLE NEWS FROM BOTANY BAY: THE LONDON CHRONICLE
May 26-28, 1791: "Letters have been received in town from Botany Bay, which contain the most favourable accounts of that colony. The arrival of the Scarborough, Surprise, Justinian, Lady Juliana and Neptune transports, in the months of July and August [1790], entirely relieved the colony from the distress it laboured under when Lieutenant King left it....."
