The cap, made by Harding’s Mercery, Hunter Street, Sydney, with original label inside with "W.A. OLDFIELD" in black ink. Condition ReportOverall the cap is showing its age; there is moth damage generally to the item, in particular the top and back portions; the inner lining nevertheless being largely free of these defects. The cap seems to have seen much on-field use, as there are at least five different small holes that have been sewn up (look to not be later additions). The insignia on front is almost entirely intact, with only the lower portions of the "Advance Australia" motto showing signs of wear.
