Some wear to the edge of the bowl which is slightly misshapen from use (as to be expected on a piece of this age). Appears to be a pin hole sized opening near the finial on both the front and back - We are unsure as to why this is here (possibly from an old repair).

Scuffs and scratches to the bowl, as to be expected. Crisp hallmark within the bowl. Rubbing to the diamond point engraving to the back of the bowl, date more so than ownership initials. There is evidence of a wedge shaped splice join and pin prick hole where the apostle has been attached to the handle. This may be a repair or later addition. A handsome example.

Some mild wear to the edge of the bowl and surface wear throughout, to be expected with age. Otherwise appears to be in very good condition with attractive antique patination.
