    Case in good order with minor scuffs and scratches to the areas inside where the back of the case and cuvet have been opened as to be expected with age. Engine turn decoration crisp. Hinges tight, minor dent to the edge on the body. Replaced ill-fitting and discoloured plexiglass. Dial in good condition although slightly dirty due to ill-fitting plexiglass. Crown time set operational hands touching at certain points on the dial due to ill-fitting plexiglass. Jewelled movement pivots dry, frosted finish overall good. Discolouration spot to the center wheel bridge, escapement wanting to run, escapement free but not running continuously most likely due to worn balance staff pivots. No damage to the movement visible, would respond well to a professional overhaul. Case measures 5.5 x 12.2 x 10.3cm

    Case in lovely condition, crisp decoration and engine turning. Crown set operational, replaced plexiglass, enamel dial in lovely order. Inside back of case with two spots of scratch marking most likely due to testing the gold case, scuffs and scratches where the case and cuvet open as to be expected. Scuffs and long light scratches to the polished cuvet, also a small dent to the cuvet. Movement and etched decoration in good condition, nicely marked and detailed by the manufacturer, slightly dirty would benefit from a professional overhaul. Not currently running all appears to be present and correct. Most likely dry and in need of professional overhaul.

    Case in overall good condition. Hour hand and numerals later professional replacement. Would have possible had a carved crest, this is now absent with holes to the pitched roof now filled in. Shrinkage crack to the front as is often the case. The original cuckoo present but with losses, needs some wire attachment in order for beak and wings to move. Running correctly but will need professional overhaul.

    Case in overall original condition. Appears to have been repairs at some pint to the front pieced fretwork, showing glued up crack where the top of the clock may have separated from the case. A minor loss to both sides of the architectural decoration. Old but replaced hour hand and numerals. Original cuckoo, minor losses and needs rewiring. One bellow with perished skin, the going (time) spring broken or let go. Will chime on the gong and operate the bellows, but the clock not running presently. Will need professional overhaul.

Shrinkage cracks to the case as is often the case, would benefit from professional restoration. Small veneer loss to the back right hand edge of the case. Replaced minute hand and numerals.     Case has remnants of polychrome painting that is most likely not original as is the brick painted decoration on the dial plate. Minor loss to the minute hand decoration as can be seen in the photos, number one numeral from the IV (six) missing. Running, chiming, and playing the music box presently but will need professional overhaul, and a correct pendulum and rod to be married up to the clock. Cuckoo, bellows, and gong sounding correct. A good, rare example that would respond well to a professional restoration. Movement appears to be unmarked.

    The tortoiseshell example missing glass to the brass bezel, the retailers address to the enamel dial rubbed. The dial loose in the surround. The case showing signs of age and wear, cracked tortoiseshell veneer to the left-hand side but present. This is also the case to the veneer to the back section of the caddy top. Veneer loses to the left and right of the back door, case would respond well to a sympathetic restoration. The movement with original silver platform currently running but will need a professional overhaul. Striking the coiled gong on the hours, although missing the strike on the half hour. A handsome example showing signs of age and wear; The spelter cased Cherub Ansonia clock running in original order. The gild finish to the case would benefit from a light clean.

    Case clean, a few minor chips to the corners of the beveled glass; front top left, backdoor top right; minor internal chipping to the right-hand side glass, right-hand inner edge. Minor loss to far right of enamel dial where it is screw fitted just behind the dial mark at the nine o’clock position. Clock will run for two days approximately, and keep time, but main spring has let go at one end within the barrel so it will not take a full wind. Correct key can be supplied. Will need professional overhaul to fix the spring issue. A nice example.

The pheasant with a repair to the front leg from a previous brake. The dial with wear and rubbing, this is also the case with the hands. The screw that retains the bell to the movement is absent, original pendulum. Movement all present and correct. An attractive clock that would respond well to a professional overhaul.

    Case in original order with scuffs, scratches and losses to the original finish. Minor separation to the case joins and shrinkage. One of the bottom drop finials missing. Running and striking presently, although the motion work needs some adjustment so it will strike when pointed at the exact hour. Some of the glass internal retaining beading missing. The top glass to the front door held in with silicone. An attractive example that would respond with to sympathetic restoration and a professional overhaul.
