Stamped 800 to the base

No evidence of repairs or restoration. Blemishes and dirt to the inside of the glass body. An area of scratching to the outer of the glass body. The sterling silver top handle and lid has been professional refitted to the glass body using plaster of Paris. A handsome example.

The rim of the foot slightly misshapen as is often the case with pieces of this age. The makers marks to the underside of the base. 29.7cm High, 1758 grams.

Matching armorial and hallmarks. The hallmarks on the sugar basin and cream jug are rubbed. A dent to one of the lobes to the hot water jug. The teapot with dents and rubbing to the area of the armorial. An attractive set and overall good original condition, showing signs of age as to be expected.
