Back rollerball castors replaced with a later riser block above. Front brass castors are period but possible replacements. Areas of colour patchiness to various veneer sections throughout. An unusual use of native timbers, an elegant example. The upholstered seat frame appears to be Australian cedar, with the external display areas crossbanded in a thick Eucalypt/Redgum veneer. Legs, armrests and spoon back frame appear to be Eucalypt/Redgum which is also faced in a Eucalypt/Redgum veneer. Note loss one square inch veneer piece on the back of upper frame.
