The case in extremely good original condition with fine finish, overall colour and patination. The dial and hands fine, no imperfections to the silvering or polished and lacquered brass dial plate. Movement not running presently as the pivot holes are dry and dirty. Will want to strike on the gong with some encouragement. Original pendulum will need a clean and overhaul. All sound frets present. No damage, repairs or restoration of any note. Fine order throughout.

Lower door is a professional old replacement. Bezel a vintage replacement. Dial partially re-painted showing evidence of movement from the dial feet behind showing circular blemishes (as can be seen in online photo). English movement original to dial and case in need of professional overhaul. Original pendulum missing suspension spring. Would respond well to sympathetic restoration.
