PRENZEL, CITY ROAD, SOUTH MELBOURNE, EUROPEAN LABOUR ONLY", 76cm high, 125cm wide, 46cm deep Condition ReportThe only manufactures mark is the two ink stamps in the drawer. No impressed stamp to the carved panel to the door. It appears in the past some additional polish has been applied now showing areas of wear. General scuffs, scratchers, and knocks as to be expected with age. The top has several filled nail holes where it has been resecured to the frame. This is also evident with fill in screw or dowel holes to the tops of the legs and cabinet uprights. Loss to the lower applied carving of the waratah right hand side front upright. Small loss of carving to the lower right-hand corner of the door panel. Complete loss of waratah leaves and stem to the inside right cabinet upright. Small shrinkage cracks and join separations as to be expected. Small loss to edge of back right-hand leg. Structurally sound and secure, usable condition.
