Some shrinkage cracks visible In particular to the sloping front. Numerous blemishes and imperfections to the polish throughout, including fading but still presents very attractively. Loss to the cockbeaded lining of the lid and missing the knife insert and only the spoon section remains. Lock and brassware original. Overall, fair to good condition.

As photographed, the seal has numerous cracks running through it and is currently affixed inside the container, we are reluctant to manipulate it in any form as it presents handsomely as is.

Damage and loss to one of the small carnelian panels on the edging (clearly visible in photograph). Otherwise, original finish and patina. Porcelain in very good condition.

Inkwell example in very good condition with original finish but glass liner with significant chip to rim. The trinket box most likely dating from the first quarter of the 20th century is in original order with no losses, the metal pin which would have run through the tail area of the lid (enabling it to hinge) is absent (an easy repair and replacement). Nice examples of their type.

In very good, original condition with original patina and finish throughout. A very attractive piece. The only blemish of note is inside the box on the edge near the rear left hinge, which is a series of small indentations most likely made from closing the box lid with something caught in there (not significant).

The box missing two porcupine quills, one from the end and one from the side. Otherwise, good original condition. Note: Gaming pieces incomplete and in our opinion are inconsequential

Good, original condition with some rubbing and wear evident consistent with age but no signs of major damage of restoration.

Original polish quite faded on the top but still very attractive. Numerous marks and stains visible to the top. Rotates well. No evidence of significant damage or restoration.

Loose on their ebonized timber bases, scuffs and scratches to the applied patinated finish, dusty and dirty, would benefit from a wash/clean. The floral bouquet held by the female figures; one has been reattached/soldered the other is separate yet still present and will need to be re-attached. Would benefit from restoration. 

This is clearly a folk art, one off piece bearing all of the imperfections and hallmarks of its construction. We note it is in remarkably good condition given its age.
